So after a hectic few weeks, whilst also juggling numerous Uni projects, our charity fashion show 'Revive' finally took place last night, and was a huge success!
Myself and 5 other FCP students took on the responsibility of creating an event to showcase old Oxfam clothes that had been re-constructed by the 1st year Design students at Trent- hence the REVIVAL of old clothes.
So your first idea of Oxfam...not exactly the most in-trend fashion attire, but with the designs students twist, there were some fantastic pieces (even shotgunned a few for myself)! All of the garments are going to be sold on in the Oxfam store in the next few weeks so be sure to go and check them out.
The event was held in the Pitcher and Piano in the Nottingham Lace Market, which is a stunning venue- bar within a church- beautifully unorthodox! The show was free, and we managed to bag 2 for 1 cocktail deals, live music and some raffle prizes.
After weeks of stress, and very nearly pulling all out hair out, I think it was a brilliant night, and lots came to show their support :)
I took a few photos (putting them up soon) but luckily we had a 2nd year photographer there so watch this space to see some of the creations!
